OUR STORY

A special place to call home

What began as a long‑held dream became real in 2021, when we found our patch of land in Jupiter Creek, South Australia. We wanted a life that felt grounded - space to raise our kids, grow real food, and build something meaningful for our community. Over time, that dream has grown into Fork & Tiller: a small, regenerative farm with a big heart.

Hi, we’re Pat and Lisa Burns  the hands, minds and muddy boots behind Fork & Tiller. We’re a next‑generation family farm raising chemical‑free, pasture‑raised Angus beef with care for the land, the animals, and the people who eat our food. Our approach is simple: healthy soil grows healthy grass, which raises healthy cattle, which nourishes healthy families.​

We proudly co‑raise our cattle with our family’s long‑established farm, Triple B Biodynamic Beef, combining decades of experience with a modern, sustainable approach. This partnership allows us to honour the wisdom of the past while continuing to innovate - ensuring our beef is ethical, nutrient‑dense and full of flavour.

Driven by a love of craft and a desire to keep learning, we’re always creating, building, growing and experimenting - whether it’s refining our grazing systems, restoring biodiversity, or curating rustic and vintage pieces that reflect the character of our farm.

Our passion for organic, free‑range, non‑chemical food began long before we had land of our own. We spent years seeking out growers who farmed with integrity. Now, we’re proud to be those growers - offering beef raised on regenerative, chemical‑free pastures in the Adelaide Hills, where soil health, animal wellbeing and ecological diversity come first.

Fork & Tiller is more than a farm. It’s a commitment to doing things properly, to caring for the land that sustains us, and to feeding our community with food that reflects the place it comes from.
